Ceramic LAB students featured at Cevisama 2012

Four student projects from the Fall 2011 course ‘Material Processes and Systems: Ceramic LAB’ were selected for exhibition in the ASCER Trans/hitos installation at the international architectural ceramic showcase Cevisama 2012.
The Course, taught by Professor Martin Bechthold and Nathan King (TF, DDes ’13), proposed new ceramic products and systems that are enabled by digital and robotic fabrication technologies. The class relates to the ongoing ‘Ceramic Futures’ research project, conducted by the GSD Design Robotics Group, and sponsored by ASCER Tile of Spain.
