Ra’Shaun Nalls, “Boston in Context”

Ra’Shaun Nalls is the director of community engagement at the Harvard School of Public Health. He has worked with Boston-area community-based organizations for over fifteen years, with an emphasis on youth development and community organizing. He has been acknowledged for his community service by the Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD), the Boston Foundation, Boston Police Department, Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, and the Harvard Youth Violence Prevention Center. In his presentation, Ra’Shaun will discuss Boston from a public health perspective and offer an introduction to community engagement methodologies. This presentation is offered in collaboration with the Harvard School of Public Health, and hosted by VIS 2484: Interdisciplinary Art and Design Practices and MDes Art, Design, and the Public Domain.
