Inés Benítez Gómez    She participated in the first joint project of the Faculty of Architecture and CONAFE (National Council for  Educational Promotion), designing and building a Prototype of Rural School complex in Xilitla, San Luis Potosí. The project received several awards and has appeared in several publications, including its most recent exhibition during this year’s Mexican Pavilion in Venice Architecture Biennale (2016-2017). Inés has enriched her architectural practice with other disciplines such as painting and ceramics workshops, literary creation, photography, fashion and design thinking. Her interests are contemporary art, the collision of the previous into the architectural practice, traditional crafts, and words as meaningful materials. She has worked in museographic design (Museum of Freedom and Human Rights in Panama, 2017-), support for artistic production (Kurimanzutto, 2017), research, design and construction of educational and corporate spaces (SpAce Arquitectura, 2013- 2016), as well as in coordination and production of artistic matters (Taller Tornel, 2015), and in several individual and collective architectural projects.
