Design for Health has a health-oriented image bank on Flickr. It contains many images related to health and environments. Images are geotagged by location and many are organized into sets on topics such as pedestrians and social interaction.

Cities Around the World 
Based at the University of Milwaukee, Cities Around the World presents over 6,100 photographic images from the slide collections of the American Geographical Society Library. The images selected for this project focus on architecture, city life, people, transportation and other aspects of urban development, such as neighborhoods, commercial streets, and business districts.

Knowledge for Health (K4Health) Photoshare 
Photoshare is a service of K4Health project, based at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (CCP). Photoshare is a leading source for public health and development communication, focused on demonstrating the value and impact of photography in global health efforts to improve health and save lives. Photo categories include agriculture, water, sanitation and hygiene; and the environment.

Marine Photobank 
The Marine Photobank is a program of SeaWeb, a communications based NGO that uses social marketing to advance ocean conservation. Photo gallery’s are organized by topic including coastal development, ocean natural hazards, and climate change/sea level rise.

Pedestrian and and Bicycle Information Center (PBIC) Image Library
The PBIC Image Library is a searchable collection of free, real-world images relating to walking and bicycling.

Project for Public Spaces (PPS) Image Collection
PPS is a nonprofit planning, design and educational organization. Their online image collection offers images for purchase, organized into the following categories: people, parks, plazas & waterfronts; markets, buildings, streets & transit; amenities & elements.

U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Public Health Image Bank (PHIL)
PHIL offers an organized, universal electronic gateway to CDC's pictures. Collections are organized by topic, including environmental health, natural disasters, everyday activities and health behaviors.

U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Image Collection
NHTSA's image collection contains graphics, photographs and logos demonstrating highway safety programs, searchable by category or keyword. Categories include pedestrian safety, bicycling, and older adults.

World Health Organization (WHO) Photo Library
The WHO Photo Library, entirely accessible on line, provides thousands of critical images to illustrate overall health topics and diseases, wider issues related to public health, the history of public health since 1948.
