Feel free to share with other students and programs across the GSD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why is Healthy Places going to the Planetarium, you may ask? Research shows that outer space and the universe promote feelings of awe. Experiencing awe may enhance mental health in several ways. Increases feelings of connectedness: Awe may enhance our sense of connection to others and the world around us. This emotional response could possibly reduce feelings of isolation, which can be comforting and grounding.
