Maryam Aljomairi is a Bahraini architect and researcher interested in programmable material systems, building technology, and personal fabrication. Her current research focuses on responsive and self-shaping materials across scales.
Maryam is a first-year doctoral candidate at Harvard University. She received an MS in Design & Computation from MIT (2022) and a BArch from the American University of Sharjah (2017). She has worked internationally at Diller Scofidio + Renfro offices, Studio Anne Holtrop, and Benoy.
