Juan Pablo is an architect and researcher interested in the cognitive bases of design creativity. He is a DDes candidate currently studying the oculomotor correlates of design cognition in model making, with the aim of developing an empirical foundation to inform the development of human-machine collaborative tools.

Juan Pablo received his professional architecture degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2010 and an M.Arch II (with distinction) from the GSD in 2014. Prior to joining the GSD, he worked at the award-winning design studio gt2p, in Chile. His work has received multiple awards and has been showcased in several design fairs and art galleries around the world. He has published his work in international conferences and journals, and has extensive teaching experience in Chile, the US, and Europe.
