{"id":1514,"date":"2013-10-09T20:54:41","date_gmt":"2013-10-10T00:54:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.gsd.harvard.edu\/maps\/2013\/10\/09\/alive-exhibition-invivia\/"},"modified":"2025-02-20T14:00:50","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T19:00:50","slug":"alive-exhibition-invivia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.gsd.harvard.edu\/maps\/2013\/10\/09\/alive-exhibition-invivia\/","title":{"rendered":"ALivE Exhibition @ Invivia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/research.gsd.harvard.edu\/maps\/research\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2\">Research<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ALivE Exhibition @ Invivia<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Adaptive Living Environments (ALivE) is now preparing an exhibition of ongoing projects scheduled to open from October 15 to November 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ALivE is a unique multi-disciplinary collaboration between the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/r20.rs6.net\/tn.jsp?e=001aq4PWyGuBvR6kUrLVLr5_eOYLLEtEkgTdVBLysWY1wmMXVXvjgSfKwqIlMAb4lImDAztILqm5mpzzy1wrqbeoiwWkiw_kBTsQEk098RIJYwzzNbl6e0b7K4Chhb0uIxpPhVSFseed8DXGfn23s58h2L_PACZCBlF6zZozMRj7ZEFSyrZqug4b3EbXfARWqmI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adaptive Material Technologies<\/a> platform and several research groups at the Harvard Graduate School of Design: the Responsive Environments and Artifacts Lab and the&nbsp;Material Processes and Systems&nbsp;Group. The research team jointly develops novel adaptive material systems that respond to environmental conditions and user input. These systems act both passively and actively to spatially, functionally, and experientially augment built environments.
