ACADIA 2024 Award<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Our paper entitled “Toward a Digital Vernacular: Framework for Localized Biocomposite 3D-Printing with Natural Fibers” won the 2024 Vanguard Award. The co-authors are Dan Tish, Amelia Gan, Sophia Cabral, and Martin Bechthold. We present mechanical properties for a range of bio composites that include agricultural waste fibers, and develop a framework and computational tools which allows the specific properties of these biomaterials to modify the design of components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
