Born in S\u00e3o Paulo, where she received her Bachelor degree in Architecture and Urbanism at the Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (FAUUSP), she also studied one year at the Escuela T\u00e9cnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB). Her Bachelor thesis was a research and design proposal about the correlations between music and architecture.<\/p>\n<p>During her studies at Harvard, Marysol was granted with the Yucat\u00e1n Initiative Fellowship and the Harvard-Brazil Research Fund.
