Victor is currently Director of Urban Design at Nexity, a Mexican firm dedicated to expanding Mexican city\u2019s capacities to design and implement high-quality mobility and public space projects. Previously he was Director of Strategic Projects at the Public Space Authority (the urban design office of Mexico City\u2019s Government) where he promotes the notion of public space as a layer of the city that is capable of integrating smart solutions for climate change adaptation, and public space as part of the city’s toolkit for a resilient strategy.<\/p>\n
He is also co-founder of, [A-RU] (Urban Resilience Agency), a multidisciplinary NGO that takes on urban planning and design, public administration, territorial ordering, economics and the environment in order to increase territorial operational capacity while searching, through innovation, for the mechanisms and instruments that contribute to better decision making in socio-spatial inclusive developments in Latin America. Within [A-RU] he worked as a consultant for Mexico City\u2019s Secretariat of the Environment (SEDEMA, D.F.), for the Rockefeller Foundation\u2019s Centennial Initiative: 100 ResilientCities.<\/p>\n
Previously he worked for IDEURBAN and Becker Arquitectos, two of Mexico\u2019s most prominent construction contractors.
