He grew up in Cuernavaca (Mexico) and Montreal (Canada).<\/p>\n<p>In his article for&nbsp;<em>ReVista: Harvard Review of Latin America,&nbsp;<\/em>Juan reflects on his research on <em>colectivos, <\/em>privately-owned public transportation, as forms of concealed city infrastructure. He shares how his research began in Mexico City as a <a href=\"https:\/\/research.gsd.harvard.edu\/mci\/portfolio\/2022-fellows\/\">2022 MCI Summer Research,<\/a> and later evolved into a comparative investigation of&nbsp;<em>colectivos<\/em> in Buenos Aires and Santiago.
