The initiative is an integral part of the Responsive Environments and Artifacts Lab (REAL) at Harvard GSD. Drawing upon the recent Covid-19 crisis and considering the peculiarities of the Bergamo region as a prototypal case study, the project aims to set up an interdisciplinary group dedicated to pursue research and innovation in the areas of transport and mobility, leveraging on a systemic and experiential view to develop innovative solutions to tackle both short- and long-term mobility challenges under a multi-stakeholder perspective.<\/p>\n<h5>Research team<\/h5>\n<p><em>REAL Lab<\/em> \/ Allen Sayegh, Stefano Andreani, Isa He<br \/>\n<em>University of Bergamo<\/em> \/ Matteo Kalchschmidt, Paolo Malighetti, Sebastian Birolini<\/p>\n<h5>Research topics<\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Individual Scale<\/strong>: Investigation of passengers\u2019 behavior and transport demand determinants. Focus on psychological aspects, passengers\u2019 profiling and demand forecasting methods.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Urban scale<\/strong>: investigation of innovative mobility services and trends. Focus on the adoption of new technologies and their interactions with the urban environment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Infrastructural scale<\/strong>: Investigation of physical and digital opportunities.
