Set in a dystopian future many centuries from now, the story begins with a recovered archival video dating from 2389 that depicts fine diners enjoying food. In the installation that follows, we invite participants to equip sterile suits and face masks to experience 24th century dining, where bland gruel slurped through tubes is augmented with poultry scents pumped into the nosepiece.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-5b1a5f9a107ef0f5b049\" class=\"sqs-block horizontalrule-block sqs-block-horizontalrule\" data-block-type=\"47\"><a href=\"https:\/\/research.gsd.harvard.edu\/temp-real\/files\/2021\/07\/Screen-Shot-2021-07-23-at-5.03.47-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3054\" src=\"https:\/\/research.gsd.harvard.edu\/temp-real\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Screen-Shot-2021-07-23-at-5.03.47-PM-1024x609-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"609\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-block-type=\"47\">To achieve this, we employed an ultrasonic water mist maker to vaporize condensed chicken stock.
