{"id":1585,"date":"2015-11-06T11:34:09","date_gmt":"2015-11-06T16:34:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.gsd.harvard.edu\/temp-real\/2015\/11\/06\/medium-matters\/"},"modified":"2024-11-12T17:47:25","modified_gmt":"2024-11-12T22:47:25","slug":"medium-matters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.gsd.harvard.edu\/real\/2015\/11\/06\/medium-matters\/","title":{"rendered":"Medium Matters"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Medium Matters: A mobile tool for seeing airflow<\/h3>\n<h5>Genome of the Built Environment: Measuring the Unseen, Spring 2016, Harvard GSD<\/h5>\n<h5>Teachers: Allen Sayegh, Stefano Andreani<\/h5>\n<h5>Student: Catty Dan Zhang<\/h5>\n<p>This project attempts to acknowledge the existence of invisible\u00a0air, which is the unperceivable matter fills up all the spaces\u00a0between our eye and the visible forms of the built environment.\u00a0By implementing means and methods visualizing it as a medium\u00a0being seen through, inquiring the physical and mental reactions\u00a0generated from this awareness of unseen matter. The objective\u00a0of this research focuses on the actual action of seeing as an\u00a0inducer rather than the visualization of the flow as a fact to\u00a0observe and measure.
