This focus on the interrelationship between government and development provided a behind the scenes look at the business negotiations between public and private entities.

Private sector companies they visited include: Skanska, EYA, EDENS, JBG Smith, Jair Lynch and ULI National Headquarter.

Public sector agencies visited include: Department of Planning Washington, D.C., Department of Transportation, National Capital Planning Commission, and Capital Riverfront BID.
