Components and Processes

Studying the plant as a whole system begins with understanding the role of each component of a waste-to-energy plant. By organizing these components in a typical facility arrangement, we can begin to see the way inputs and throughputs are affected by each component (or sequence of components). This creates a foundation on which architects can start building new designs — upgrading aesthetics as well as optimizing efficiencies.
