Following the great success of the Infrastructure 360º Awards in 2014, the call for applications 2015 was initiated in the 12th Latin American Leadership Forum in Infrastructure at Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, on June 10-12, 2014.

This unique opportunity presented to many incoming applicants the work developed during the previous year, as well as updates done in the assessment methodology in order to adapt to the realities of Latin America. The session was organized in a panel moderated by Ana Maria Vidaurre-Roche, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) representative and promoter of the Infrastructure 360º Awards, and presentations done by Harvard University research associates Cristina Contreras and Judith Rodriguez on the awards’ methodology, conclusions and results, and by Oscar Corcuera from Lima Metro’s Line 1, the 2014 Infrastructure 360º Award winner.

The Harvard team gave additional informational sessions with aspirant project owners on how to apply and integrate sustainable practices in projects in design phase, construction and operation through the Envision™ rating system.
