Mr. Grant has over 39 years’ experience and currently serves as Director for the Energy & Utilities Services Group in HNTB’s Bellevue, Washington, office. He provides subject matter expertise in central utility plants, renewable energy systems, distributed resources, energy conservation and aviation fueling systems for airports. Jim has led over a dozen utilities master plans at some of the largest airport in the world including ORD, ATL and LAX. He is currently leading the mechanical/electrical infrastructure design for the $10 Billion Terminal Area Program at O’Hare. He has prepared several white papers and studies on self-generation and shifting electrical demand to save energy costs. Jim has served as a Sustainable Infrastructure Advisory Board (SIAB) member on the Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure at Harvard since 2010.
Stephanie Meyn is the Climate Program Manager at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. She is an atmospheric scientist with over 25 years of experience measuring, modeling and quantifying air emissions. In her airport role, she is responsible for developing and managing carbon reduction strategies, with a focus on renewable fuels, electrification, efficiency, and leading-edge technology.
Will Thurmond is the founder and CEO of Emerging Markets Online, a market research and consulting firm focused on key growth industries for low carbon fuels, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), renewable diesel, advanced bioenergy, and alternative fuels feedstocks. Mr.Thurmond is the author of Renewable Diesel 2030, Drop-In Fuels 2020, Algae 2020, and Biodiesel 2020 studies, and is a regular contributor, thought leadership, to Biofuels Digest, Terratech Radio, and BiochannelTV. Mr. Thurmond holds an M.S., Strategic Foresight from The University of Houston; and a B.A, International Relations and Economics from Rollins College.
