Chenming He is a Doctor of Design (DDes) student at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where his research focuses on performance-driven computational design and optimization-based approaches for non-standard and irregular material inventories. His work integrates computational optimization, simulation, and digital fabrication, combining theoretical inquiry with hands-on prototyping, material scanning, and fabrication-aware workflows to bridge advanced computation with constructability and sustainable architectural practice.
