Sophia Cabral

Sophia is a graduate of Harvard’s Graduate School of Design (MDes Mediums ’25), where she focused on Applied Technologies in Construction and Design. She brings expertise in AI, computer vision, and sustainable building practices from her work at Harvard, Autodesk Research, Florida International University, The National Science Foundation, and her own startup FiXA.

Her work spans machine learning applications for the built environment, spatial intelligence, and smart material reuse. She’s a problem-solver and builder at heart who believes smart technology can improve practices in materials, design, and construction and lead to better buildings.
