Valentine Geze

Valentine is a designer and researcher currently pursuing a Master in Design Engineering at the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). Her interdisciplinary practice brings together landscape, hydrology, computation, and material experimentation to challenge how environmental systems are understood and designed. With an affinity for fabrication and storytelling, she develops projects that translate complex environmental processes into spatial, visual, and material forms, from interactive mapping tools to biomaterial prototypes. Her recent work includes experiments with algae-based pigments, responsive environmental materials, and researching methods to visualize future environmental conditions.

Valentine holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from Loyola University Chicago, with a minor in Studio Art. Her current design and environmental research is focused on integrating scientific methods, digital tools, and speculative design to advance climate response.
