Yingnan Chu

Yingnan Chu is currently a postdoctoral researcher at HCP, SEAS at Harvard, having previously graduated from the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University. His research focuses on the performance of architectural design prototypes and their contributions to building sustainability. From 2013 to 2020, he worked as a project architect and has been enrolled as a PhD student since 2018. This dual experience as both an architect and a researcher, while challenging, has deepened his understanding of the principles and limitations of architectural design. It has also highlighted the potential of scientific research to innovate design strategies and underscored the importance of holistic design for sustainability.
