Bios

Tom Lewis, PE, JD, Market Sector President, WSP USA and SIAB member

Tom Lewis is a Market Sector President for WSP USA, with a background in infrastructure engineering, sustainability and resilience, emergency and disaster management, logistics and large Federal/Military and State/Local government programs and projects. Prior to its acquisition by WSP, Tom served as president of Louis Berger U.S., and prior to that as its lead executive on environment, emergency management, sustainability, and climate resilience working across the U.S. as well as globally.

Tom is a licensed professional engineer (PE) with both a BS and MS in Engineering from the University of Connecticut, and also holds a Doctorate of Jurisprudence with focus on environmental law/regulation from Rutgers.  Tom has also served on a variety of boards and committees. This includes but is not limited to the Transportation Research Board (TRB), the Sustainable Infrastructure Advisory Board with the Zofnass Program at Harvard, and as a founding partner of the International Coalition for Sustainable Infrastructure.

Allie Reilly, Associate Consultant, Climate & Sustainability, US Advisory Services, WSP USA

Allie Reilly is an Associate Consultant with WSP’s US Advisory Climate & Sustainability team, which supports public sector clients across the country to understand their risks to climate hazards and develop strategies to improve resilience. Allie is passionate about supporting clients to understand climate-related impacts to socially vulnerable populations and to identify equity-based solutions. Allie holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Brown University and an MSc from the School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford.

Suzanne MacCormick, Global Healthcare Business Growth Director, based in the UK

Suzanne is a clinical planner and global healthcare lead at WSP.  She joined WSP in 2018 following 25 years running her own healthcare consultancy.

Suzanne has spent much of her career championing the delivery of clinical excellence. She uses her expertise as a clinical planner to underpin the delivery of strategic and operational solutions for healthcare and ensure robust solutions that meet the brief and exceed expectation. She has taken several organisations through capital project development from inception to delivery and has shown them how estates can be an enabler to deliver their clinical aspirations.

Most recently, she been working with clients across the globe helping them to prepare, respond and recover from the impacts of COVID 19. She has also been advising clients on how to adapt urban environments, from offices, to malls, to international airports, to meet the challenges of pandemics

In 2018 she co-developed WSP’s future readyä healthcare toolkit which provides a robust foundation to ensure that all estates- based developments meet the demands of today and are fit to deliver tomorrow’s technology.
