Prof. Pollalis is invited panelist to give expert opinion at UNECE ‘Days of Cities’ in the Palais des Nations, Geneva.

On April 8 Prof. Pollalis participates in UNECE ‘Days of Cities’ providing expert opinion at Session 3: ‘Smart Tools in Service of Improving the Quality of Life of Urban Dwellers’ in Roundtable 1. The roundtable is moderated by Cedric Van Styvendael, President of Housing Europe.

The event ‘Day of Cities’, is organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) bringing together Mayors, urban managers and other key municipal practitioners for an exchange of views and knowledge sharing of good practices and successful planning strategies. In two roundtables, Mayors and Deputy Mayors will discuss approaches on how to create smart sustainable cities, focusing on ways to improve the quality of life of people and on improving efficiency of urban operations, services and competitiveness.
