Anna Falvello Tomas

Anna is a Master of Architecture student at the Graduate School of Design with a background in architecture and civil engineering. During her studies, she has spent time in Spain, Switzerland, Mexico, and Japan, allowing her to experience different attitudes towards permanence and cultural heritage in the city, or of rapid transformation and densification on the other end of the spectrum. She has been studying ways in which ideas regarding the built and natural environments play out in the development of cultural identity, and how the theorization of design and its tangible reality may differ, thus revealing a disconnect between the narratives associated to a space and the way that they operate in the day to day.
