Mauricio Benítez Iturbe


Mauricio Benítez is Executive Director of the Mexico Office of the David Rockefeller Center of Latin American Studies at Harvard University. He holds a B.A. degree in International Relations from El Colegio de México, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively. He has been a visiting scholar at the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies at UC San Diego, and the Hayward R. Alker postdoctoral fellow at the Center for International Studies at the University of Southern California. Before joining DRCLAS, Mauricio was an assistant professor of Political Science at Chapman University, specializing in comparative and Latin American politics.
