Yi Li


Yili is a candidate of Master of Architecture 2016 at the Graduate School of Design. Growing up in multiple cultures, she constantly applies her interest in urban food system world-wide. Her recent research on Ephemeral Urbanism through the lens of transaction is exhibited in a joint exhibition at the Harvard CGIS South Asia Institute. She had also traveled to India on a Harvard Research Grant studying the food distribution and retail system in Mumbai. Her team’s research-design project on modular cold-storage won the Harvard Dean’s Food Challenge Finalist and is going through the beta stage at iLab. With strong on-site hand drawing and interviewing skills, she is interested in deploying such skills in her food infrastructure research.
